After dodging floodwaters all week our incredible week of immersion on Barkandji Country has come to an end. Now the real work begins!

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼, based on Barkandji Country in Wilcannia (NSW), is underway.

Ka Wai Yeung Tom Hearn are on hashtagBarkandji Country in hashtagWilcannia for an intensive on-Country immersion in culture, community and architecture. The program will be led by Barkandji Elders, rangers and community leaders, and we are honoured to also teach from the new Baaka Cultural Centre.
