It is with great pleasure that Kaunitz Yeung Architecture welcomes Anton Kouzmin to the team as Practice Director.

Anton will play an integral role in maintaining our high levels of service and professionalism as our practice continues to grow. He brings 25 years’ experience in design development, project delivery and contract administration and has worked both domestically in Australia and internationally in the UK, China and Azerbaijan.

His portfolio includes social and market multi-residential apartment
developments in London and Sydney, luxury bespoke houses, commercial office headquarters, Australian defence facilities, urban masterplanning, interiors and major sport venue and event masterplanning.

He has collaborated with Olympic, Asian and European Games bid and host nation organising committees in venue design and event overlay masterplanning for the European Games in Baku 2015, Olympic Games in Sydney, Beijing and London and candidate city bids for Paris 2012, Istanbul 2020 and the Doha 2030
Asian Games.

Anton is experienced in managing complex stakeholder environments and has developed a rigorous approach to space planning, meticulous documentation and an approach to architectural design and delivery that displays rigour, clarity and a concise attention to materiality and detail.

David Kaunitz and Anton have known each other for over 15 years and Ka Wai Yeung for 10 years. David and Anton met while working as Senior Architects together for BVN on the London 2012 Olympic Village. The culmination of these long-standing friendships and our shared values will ensure a seamless integration with the KYA team and our valued clients.
