Kaunitz Yeung Architecture is officially open in Brisbane!
Last Thursday we held a launch event to mark the opening of our new Brisbane Studio to be led by Practice Director Steve Johnson. It was a fantastic evening among many friends, peers, clients and collaborators – a truly fitting way to usher in this new era.
The highlight of the event was Aunty Becky Thomson and Aunty Sheryl Sandy in an insightful and inspiring conversation with Ka Wai Yeung. We’re honored to have had them there.
Aunty Becky spoke about her personal and professional stories, and what drives her to do the incredible work they do. It was great to hear more about her future vision for her community and Winnam ATSIC.
Aunty Sheryl Sandy shared her life experiences as well as her hopes for Yes23 and The Uluru Statement from the Heart – Uluru Dialogue (Official). People left better informed to have conversations with their friends, family and colleagues on this once in a generation opportunity for reconciliation.
We have been blown away by the generous welcome we have received in Brisbane and Queensland. The new office will enable us to continue to serve our growing work across the state including our current residential aged care, civic / community, social housing and childcare projects.
If we missed you last week please reach out. We are always up for a coffee to chat and see if their are opportunities to collaborate.
