marking the culmination of 18 years of collaboration with the communities in hashtag#WesternProvince

July 24, 2025

SolomonIslands 2025 has been an unforgettable journey, marking the culmination of 18 years of collaboration with the communities in hashtagWesternProvince. During this trip, we not only identified the upcoming projects but also assessed the current crop status.

This visit was particularly special as it was the first time our entire family experienced the trip together. The bonds formed and strengthened with our friends and community members have now entered a new and remarkable phase.

It was also incredible to see some of the 132 school buildings that we supported 2009-2011 all still going strong.

A special acknowledgment goes out to Ian Warren from Stellen Consulting for his invaluable contributions throughout this journey. It was a pleasure to travel alongside him and his family.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Partner Housing Australasia, especially Rod Johnston (Chair), Evy Anwar (CEO), and the board members – Alison Scotland, Arthur Gray, Jenny Turner, Nicola Smart, Peter Cheers, Robyn Johnston, Tatiana Skwarko, and Ian Volke. Your unwavering support is the cornerstone of our continued efforts and success.
