Village Water Supplies

Born from the communities for Ranongga’s call for secure water supply this project is one of the man focuses of Ranongg.org / Ranongga Community Association (RCA) in partnership with Partner Housing Australasia (PHA) who provides project support and funding. David Kaunitz is a founding director Ranongga Community Association and a Director of PHA.

THE BRIEF
To provide sustainable water supplies to the communities of Ranongga and Vella la Vella.

THE DESIGN APPROACH
The approach is to support communities to implement and maintain their own water supplies. Project

INTERESTING FACT
The maintenance program is the most enduring aspect of this program. Each supply has a local maintenance officer who carries out day to day management. On a quarterly basis an experience local RCA manager / engineer conducts monitors each supply and carries out any significant maintenance.
