The International Architecture Awards 2024 from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

We are excited and proud to share that Yutjuwala Djiwar Residential Aged Care operated by Australian Regional and Remote Community Services Ltd and for the Yolngu communities of East Arnhem Land received The International Architecture Awards 2024 from The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

This project was a huge team effort between Yolngu Elders, communities and Australian Regional and Remote Community Services Ltd led by Wendy Hubbard with funding and incredible support from the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.

As well as the large design and delivery team including Lead Consultants Pty Ltd WSP CLOUSTON Associates – a division of Beveridge Williams Scope Building NT

Since 2004, The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, together with The European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and Metropolitan Arts Press, Ltd. have organized The International Architecture Awards as a way in which to honor the best, significant new buildings, landscape architecture, and planning projects designed and/or built around the world’s leading architects, landscape architects, and urban planners practicing nationally and internationally.
